A major international scientific conference was successfully held with the support of mr.fix®, fostering global academic collaboration and industry advancements.

With the support of Mr.Fix construction chemicals, owned by Kartaş MMC, a major international scientific conference was held at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMİU) on the topic of “Current Issues in Construction Material Production and Solutions.” The conference was dedicated to the memory of Professor Bünyad Sərdarov.

Opening the event, Professor Arif Şərifov, Vice-Rector for Science and Technology at AzMİU, highlighted the scientific contributions of B.Sərdarov and his impact on the university. Following his remarks, Nəcməddin Taşbağ, Director of Kartaş MMC (mr.fix®), spoke about the company’s 15-year commitment to the construction materials sector and its ongoing collaboration with universities, wishing success to all conference participants.

During plenary discussions, the Kemerix brand, distributed by Mr.Fix in Azerbaijan, was represented. Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Technical Consultant at Kemerli and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Kayseri Erciyes University, gave a comprehensive presentation on the impact of Kemerix steel fibers in concrete and reinforced concrete applications, addressing questions from attendees.

The conference brought together representatives from universities across various countries (Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan), as well as leading higher education institutions, scientific centers, and organizations from Azerbaijan, along with distinguished scholars.
