PRATIX® Aero Plast
PRATIX® Aero Plast is a cement based, polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced fine plaster mortar developed for aerated concrete and concrete surfaces. It is formulated to suit the high water absorption and low surface strength of aerated concrete, forming a strong, crack-resistant layer that can be painted directly.
Complies with class GP CS II W2 according to EN 998-1.
GP: General purpose rendering and plastering mortar
CS: Compressive strength class (CS II 1.5 – 5.0 N/mm²)
W: Capillary water absorption class (W2)
Areas of Use
• For plastering aerated concrete walls, internally and on façades
• For thin plastering of concrete and cement-based surfaces
• For obtaining a smooth surface before painting or wallpapering
• For levelling the surface of existing plasters
Advantages
• Developed specifically for aerated concrete surfaces
• High adhesive strength
• Resistant to cracking and impact
• Vapour permeable; does not disturb the moisture balance of aerated concrete
• Can be painted directly or covered with wallpaper
• Resistant to freeze-thaw cycles
