IZOMAX®Band D-TPE
IZOMAX® Band D-TPE is a flexible movement joint tape based on thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), with high tensile strength in both the longitudinal and transverse directions.
Fields of Application
• Expansion (movement) joints and cracks subject to high movement
• Basements, foundation and retaining wall junctions
• Tunnels, channels and infrastructure structures
• Swimming pools and water tanks
• Wastewater treatment plants
Advantages
• Accommodates high joint movement with 680% longitudinal and 710% transverse elongation at break
• Can be joined by hot-air welding, forming a continuous and watertight seam
• UV resistant; suitable for outdoor applications
• Resistant to chemicals and sea water
• Permanently elastic; retains its shape
• Can be bonded to concrete, metal and natural stone substrates
