IZOMAX® STB PVC-O
IZOMAX® STB PVC-O is a flexible waterstop based on modified PVC with a round centre bulb, installed within the concrete section to seal expansion joints in reinforced concrete structures. With cross-sections from 15–32 cm in width and 3–6 mm in thickness, it provides an economical and balanced solution for general-purpose expansion joints exposed to low and medium water pressure.
Areas of Application
• Expansion joints in buildings and industrial structures
• Basements and underground car parks
• Water tanks, reservoirs and swimming pools
• Irrigation canals and culverts
• Expansion joints in terraces and ground-bearing slabs
Advantages
• The round centre bulb accommodates joint movements in a balanced way
• Adapts to different joint widths thanks to its wide size range
• Provides an economical solution with its thinner cross-sections
• Can be welded easily and homogeneously on site with heating-element (hot plate) welding equipment
• Produced from high-quality modified PVC for a long service life
• Resistant to ageing, alkaline environments and natural groundwater
• Forms a continuous sealing system with T, L and X junction pieces
