IZOMAX® STB PVC-OL
IZOMAX® STB PVC-OL is a flexible waterstop based on modified PVC with a large centre bulb, developed for expansion joints in reinforced concrete structures where large joint movements and high water pressure are expected. With its large cross-sections from 25–35 cm in width and 6–8 mm in thickness, it provides high-performance sealing in heavy civil engineering structures.
Areas of Application
• Dams, regulators and hydroelectric power structures
• Large-volume water tanks and reservoirs
• Expansion joints in metro stations and road tunnels
• Raft foundations below a high groundwater table
• Sea walls, quays and port structures
Advantages
• Accommodates large expansion and shear movements with its wide centre bulb
• Suitable for high hydrostatic pressure thanks to its large cross-section
• Provides a high-performance solution for heavy civil engineering structures
• Can be welded easily and homogeneously on site with heating-element (hot plate) welding equipment
• Produced from high-quality modified PVC for a long service life
• Resistant to ageing, alkaline environments and natural groundwater
• Forms a continuous sealing system with T, L and X junction pieces
