THERMOMAX® DBL 80M
THERMOMAX® DBL 80M is a wide-plate anchor with a steel nail, used for the mechanical fixing of thermal insulation boards. It is designed especially for mineral wool boards; its wide plate distributes the load over a large area of the board surface and secures the system against wind suction loads.
It is a component of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).
Fields of Application
• Mechanical fixing of mineral wool boards in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS)
• Fixing of thermal insulation boards in buildings requiring fire safety and in fire barrier applications
• On concrete, solid brick, aerated concrete and lightweight concrete substrates
Advantages
• The steel nail does not soften in a fire; the mechanical fixing of the boards is maintained
• Its wide plate spreads the load over a large area on low-tensile-strength boards such as mineral wool and prevents it from sinking into the board
• The nail head is designed to prevent thermal bridging and staining on the façade
• Suitable for concrete, brick, aerated concrete and lightweight concrete substrates
