IZOMAX® B 772

IZOMAX® B772 is a two-component, low-viscosity, fully elastic, thick-applied polymer modified bitumenrubber and special cement based waterproofing material designed for waterproofing structural elements exposed to water pressure and in permanent contact with water. Complies with EN 15814 standard as PMBC class.
PMBC: Polymer Modified Bituminous Thick Coating

Areas of Application

●    Deep foundations and retaining walls in contact with pressurized and permanent water
●    Protection and waterproofing of structural elements exposed to temporary or permanent water pressure
●    Wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets, balconies and terraces
●    Retaining walls
●    Waterproofing against ground moisture above underground car parks and on garden terraces
●     Installation of thermal insulation or drainage boards
Note: The material is not UV resistant; after application it must be covered with a protective concrete layer.

Advantages

●    Ready to use, requires no heating, easy to apply
●    Adheres excellently to concrete and metal
●    Forms a seamless, monolithic coating
●    Elastic, does not crack when the structure settles
●    Forms a watertight layer against groundwater pressure in deep foundations ●     Solvent-free
●    Thanks to its reactive component, provides both fast drying and resistance to high water pressure
●    Suitable for vertical and horizontal surfaces, does not sag
●    Resistant to acids, aggressive minerals and chemicals in the soil
●    Bridges shrinkage cracks and prevents crack formation
