IZOMAX® STB PVC-I
IZOMAX® STB PVC-I is a flexible waterstop based on modified PVC with a flat cross-section and anchoring ribs, installed within the concrete section for construction (cold) joints in reinforced concrete structures. With a wide range of cross-sections from 15–30 cm in width and 3–7 mm in thickness, it offers options for project requirements from low and medium up to high water pressure. It is the type with the widest size range in the portfolio.
Areas of Application
• Raft-foundation-to-wall connection joints
• Successive pour joints in walls and slabs
• Basements, underground car parks and retaining walls
• Water tanks, treatment plants and irrigation canals
• Construction joints in tunnels and culverts
Advantages
• Offers a suitable option for every project scale thanks to its wide size range
• Its flat cross-section allows easy placement in densely reinforced areas
• Provides an economical solution with its thinner cross-sections
• Can be welded easily and homogeneously on site with heating-element (hot plate) welding equipment
• Produced from high-quality modified PVC for a long service life
• Resistant to ageing, alkaline environments and natural groundwater
• Forms a continuous sealing system with T, L and X junction pieces
